The Perfect Summer Job
I start my summer dream job in a two weeks. I volunteer a lot in my community at different organizations depending on what I feel I can give of me to them. This past December I created a make and take week-long jewelry class for a group of underpriviledged inner city ladies and a couple of men. Soon after the director of that center asked me if I would teach the youth of the same community jewelry making skills, of course I said yes! It's the perfect summer job for a jewelry designer and artist who likes to volunteer in her community by giving back through my jewelry making skills and resources. What a blessing!!
