So glad to see that Pittsburgh made this list! I'm planning on applying for internships there next year and hopefully will find a job there as well with my communications degree. I absolutely love Pittsburgh and the views of the downtown skyline from the surrounding neighborhoods is breathtaking =]

How did San Diego make this list? Yes the beaches are great as are my fellow residents. I have moved back after being away for many years and have found that the requirements companies have here for an entry level position, just to get your foot in the door, are amazing!

a novel like this, must be made up of very good-natured persons--assinine in temperament, and
mentally obtuse. "This 'work,' we presume, i Karen millen outlet s written by that much-abused and prolific myth--'a
young gentleman of this city,' distinguished, of course. We believe that he writes all of
Printem & Sellem's books. At all events, those enterprising gentlemen always have 'a startling
novel' in press, from his immortal pen. What a long string of sins these gentlemen have to
answer for! What a commotion there would be among the shelves of their book-store, if dead
authors could come back and reclaim stolen property! If the shade of Lindley Murray could stalk
among them! "For our part, we had rather see the Hudson River Railroad's list of 'dead and
wounded,' than Printem & Sellem's list of 'Popular Publications!' But it is consoling to know
that books like 'Daisy's Necklace,' in spite of 'purchased puffery,' find their level at last as
linings for portmanteaus and third-rate trunks. We shall make cigar-lighters of our copy, and
thank the stars that we were not born a book-making genius!"

I am from Boston, and have always live in only Massachusetts. I haven't searched for employment in any other cities/states, because I am not familiar in any other Locations. Boston does have many Colleges however I am an Artsy person which does not open many doors for me in my City.
I did start my College in Art School (Brookline, MA.) and I am not currently attending do financial reasons. I did find more narrow options in Boston for Art Majors to study as well as employment within these Art Majors.
I also find it difficult to believe the average salary of $51,730, and I did not think Boston would be on this list at all.
I Don't do any boating business. In fact the only thing that doesn't surprise me is the high cost of living in Boston and Suburban towns around Boston.

Asparagine is an amino acid (a building block of proteins) that is found in many vegetables, with higher concentrations in some varieties of potatoes. When heated to high temperatures in the presence of certain sugars, asparagine can form acrylamide. High-temperature cooking methods, such as frying, baking, or broiling, have been found to produce acrylamide (3), while boiling and microwaving appear less likely to do so. Longer cooking times can also increase acrylamide production when the cooking temperature is above 120 degrees Celsius

Please stop putting Austin on the list. Grew up here and have lived here off & on for over 35 yrs. *There aren't any jobs here!!!* These places always say there are, but they're all low-paying, retail jobs. I've got a Masters, friends have PhDs and none of us had an easy time getting a job here.
Also, Austin isn't what it used to be, what with the huge influence of outsiders who have taken their toll on the once-great city. It's not much more than a southern version of Arlington. You're much better off in some of the other places in the poll. Austin is the most expensive city in Texas to live in, there's a major water shortage and the "new" population is driving out the live music places. The traffic is as bad as Houston (or worse), since it was never created with the appropriate infrastructure to support the growth. Forget about getting to go out downtown around here - it will take you 60 minutes just to get downtown, park and get to a bar that isn't overcrowded with lame Californians, Yanks or poser-hipsters. The town is very casual and nice, but lacks the sophistication of Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston or even San Antonio. Which is why most of us true Austinites are leaving. And taking the flavor of the true Austin with us. Or maybe all the newbies are too busy trying to turn it into one big stretch of Home Depot-Chilis-Carrabas-Petco-Red Robin strip malls.
Excelle needs to come up with its own assessments, rather than using other pubs' ideas about "great places to live."
