![]() |
So you’ve just been laid off. Or maybe you’re a recent graduate who hasn’t found a job yet.
As if joblessness weren’t enough of a blow to your self-esteem, you find yourself with no other choice but to move back home – back to the place you thought you’d managed to escape from forever.

I can empathize with this article. I moved back in with my mom a few years back to help out when she was going through a down period, financially. Unfortunately, she was going through menopause and was very much caught up in some of the hormone swings that go with that. Despite paying very substantial rent, she wasn't really able to separate being a mom and a roommate. More power to people who can make that sort of living arrangement work!
