About Me: Sharing information and helping people to succeed is what I enjoy most. My first career was in healthcare, but after having children I needed to do something more flexible to be available to volunteer at their schools whenever needed. So, currently I am helping Positively Successful Magazine expand. For fun I play board and card games with my family. Hiking and swimming in the ocean are my favorite out door activities, but I live in Dallas...I think we have a few hills and a couple of 'lakes', so I love vacation time to go hiking or swimming. Love to enjoy family time on the weekend, although someone usually has a game or event we attend. So socializing is often a part of the weekend fun. I am helping to develop a Woman's Auxilary for a childcare center for homeless families, so networking at civic events is generally a part of my week. I enjoy meeting people and learning about their experiences and their interests. My kids start my day with hugs and smiles and I always end the day with a comedy.

Hey Beth,
How was Halloween? We had a terrific group of little ones come through.
Nov begins National Novel Writers Month. The challenge for aspiring writers is to write 50, 000 words on their "masterpiece" from Nov 1 to Nov 30. If you are an aspiring writer, come and join us, if not encourage a writer. There is no proofing, no editing, NO EXCUSES, no spell check (Yikes!)... you just have to write. I have begun my journey in this challenge. I am asking my friends to keep me in their thoughts and prayers, while I undertake this challenge. Thanks!

How's everything going? Have you been enjoying our rain & the cool temperatures? I sure have. I started a new class this week.... back to studying! I put in for three positions this last week. I would love to get the one w/Salvation Army where I feel like I would enjoy the work. We'll see.
