About Me
I got back from serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in October and have been working my way back into American culture slowly but surely ever since. Some parts are easier than others (two words: delivery Mexcian) and some parts I hope I can stave off for a while (taking indoor heating and plumbing for granted, never again!). I just started working as an Adminstrative Assistant for the DPD. I'm hoping to be able to do a little grant writing for the cops. The best part of being home from the Peace Corps is feeling like I can act my age again instead of dealing with the very serious, life and death stuff that happened all the time over there. Now that I'm home I really appreciate what it is to be in your mid-twenties in the States versus what it means for most people in the developing world. I am getting the most out of this time and LOVING it.
