Personal

About Me: For whatever reason, I find myself doing many different things. I have been an RN for 26 years beginning at the age of 30. I am a school nurse presently, in two home businesses, and I have completed writing memoirs of my adult life since the age of 22. The book's title is, "Looking Up When Your Circumstances Have You Down." I have wanted for a long time to be able to tell people what the Lord has done for me, and this was the only way, considering He is constantly helping me. My pen name for this book is K J Jacobs. I don't know why I decided to sign my name this way. I found out later that some people do not realize that it is me and haven't gotten the book because they don't know KJ Jacobs. My maiden name is "Dunahoo." Many people in my hometown only know me by that name. For a first book, this has been a wonderful learning experience. Jesus has been so good to me throughout the years. I have failed Him many times, but His love has always been there. I pray that it will be an encouragement to other women, and they will come to see that "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1, NIV of the Bible. Thanks for the great pictures ladies! It's been a difficult day. I took my Mom and Dad to Memphis for the funeral of her sister, my aunt. Time marches on...huh.
