Thanks Agilemom! I am glad you understood what I was saying about the whole subject. I had a few readers think that I was actually promoting a standard of perfection,when in fact I am promoting that perfection is the 'you' that makes 'you' happy! Be happy with who you are, because you are the perfect you! I do wish that mayeb my Mom would have been a little more vigilant in impressing this upon me, when I was a child:) Maybe then I wouldn't be so hard on my own looks and body. LOL Thanks for the kind words.

I !loved! your post! I am the exact same way: very hard on my own looks and body image but constantly reminding my kids that the size ( or lack thereof) of a person is not the measure of their worth! Just remember, "You can't fix stupid"...LOL!
