I just returned to school and I am taking classes online. My PC is great, but it would be very beneficial for me to get a laptop, which I do not have nor can afford right now. Hi there. I've been in the food business on and off (more on) for over 30 years. How did I EVER get this old? LOL. A long time ago I was also married to a chef......thankfully he did the cooking. The most recent company was a small specialty food manufacturer primarily specializing in vinegars and oils. However, I was laid off this past Dec., so now I'm back out on the streets looking for work. Specialty food is rough in this economy....people have to eat of course but there's a trading down......people will still eat chocolate - - but instead of it being Lula's it will be Hershey's. Yes, you're right....other than the bread basket of America the West Coast is the place to be. Well, either here or Italy. The most amazing food ever! So fresh. How's your business doing? It's rough out there that's for sure. I'm keeping my fingers crossed (but not counting my chickens) for a job that I've now had three interviews with. In a round about way it's still food related but on the supply/support side. Have a good evening......take care. Judy
