About Me: I just realized that after months being on excelle, I’ve never done the ‘About me’ portion of my profile. Well let’s see, most of you already know me, but for those who don’t, or for those that don’t understand me, here goes. I am a jack of all trades, I carry many titles. I am a mother, daughter, fiancé, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, auntie, work-in-progress, and friend. Although I carry many titles, my most important positions are “Mom” and “Work-in-progress. I know you must be thinking, ‘what kind of title is work-in-progress?’ Well let me explain it to you. I am a woman of God, but not quite the virtuous woman (Proverbs 31) I need to be. I strive every day to be the woman God would have me to be, and since I’m not there yet….I’m a Work-in-progress. I am a woman who tries to live my life with no regrets. I try to learn a lesson from each experience, and in learning I also try to teach others. I figure that you can learn from someone else’s mistakes or struggles…some things you don’t have to experience for yourself. Like the saying goes “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”. And although life hasn’t always dealt me the hand I wanted, I’m a stronger woman because of each of the cards I was dealt. Some people say I’m comical, but trust me I don’t try to be comical; it’s just the way things come out. I am upfront, and I don’t sugar coat anything.
