About Me
I am a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, foster mother, adoptive mother and have so many kids and grandkids I can't keep up anymore. Love, hope and faith in God keep me going even through the hardest of times. It is important to always remember God is with us even when we have been driven to the depth of despair. Which I seem to be in a lot these days. I am a person who tries to be like Jesus was here on this earth. Sometimes I find it difficult to forgive but I just keep asking God to bless me with forgiveness for those who have used and abused me. Eventually I am able to forgive. I have been raising two of my Granddaughters. Faith who is now 9 yrs old and Hope who is now 8 yrs old. I was blessed with them through some very troubled times in all of our lives. Faith is now living with her father who is doing fantastic now days, thanks to answered prayers. Hope is still with me though and will remain with me. My little Hope is bipolar, ADHD, Obsessive Defiant Disorder and Psycotic. She had brain damage caused by drugs while in the uteral. She struggles in school however God has blessed us with special education help now so maybe she will be able to catch up. She has a stomach disorder and has been in Children's Hospital, Madera several times. With medications we have now got her more balanced physically and mentally. She is a real challange to raise and that is why I think God put me through so much to learn how to deal with her. I am so blessed with this little girl. I have a hugh family. I gave birth to four children. My first son died at birth. That was a very difficult time for me. My two girls, Fawn and Sheri are a treasure. After I lost my first son I was blessed with Shane. The doctors told me if I carried him to full term I would die. I told them they didn't have God on their side if they thought that. I did. Then I took in children who's parents were on drugs and the kids were in the street. I guess that started when my kids went through jr. high school. Then foster children that no one else could control. I started helping people who were on drugs to get off of them. Sometimes people just need to know that someone really cares what happens to them. Lost some to the drugs, but God saved some also. I have been married twice. First one was an abusive person that took me forever to get enough courage to get away from. The second one had mental problems that he refused to get help for. Enough on that subject. I have always felt it was important to have at least three sources of income coming into a household. So I have had my own business and worked for other companies at the same time. At present I am trying to locate in California an on site property management position. The truth is I had a stroke on July 26,2005. I have been recovering from it since. I had to retrain myself physically and emotionally. I lost everything I had worked for my entire life. So I am now starting over. I have the courage to do it now. Besides if you think you can live on disability I must tell you truthfully, THERE IS NO WAY!
