I read this story and I am totally disgusted that an Institute like the World Health Organization would possibly even acknowledge such research. Yes, I am for putting all info out there, the more the better. But I feel that maybe this whole Global Warming thing is going a little too far. That the International community would host such ideas as "Fat People" causing Global Warming, but refusing to host an open debate on the issue, allowing for ideas such as the possibility that the warming is a cause of Global Cycles, is an outrage.And if this is some physician's crazy idea to get Bigger people to lose weight is absurd. People who are over weight should want to lose weight because they feel it is right for them.Not because Hollywood says so. Not because a Politican or scienist says so. Read and "Wiegh In" girls.

Good Gods, I know that I am a wee bit off from my "ideal" weight, but to now find that I am a major cause of global warming?? talk about pressure, ehh , I'll still have a slice of cake at dinner tonight.

Thanks Jessica for posting this article. I think it's horrible that there is so much judgement in the world and that "Hollywood" dictates how they think someone should be. People are NOT fat because they want to be...some do have serious medical conditions. My mom for instance is on a certain medication that adds pounds. She does not eat and eat and eat..in fact, she eats less than I do, but she is heavier due to this medication.
I think if we showed a little more tolerance for people of all sizes and a lot less judgement, we could all live in harmony and acceptance.
