It’s time to sack up! At first I balked at the idea of getting three kids to the grocery store and remembering my recyclable bags, but the visualization of thousands of dead birds in overcrowded landfills kept popping into my head.

For the sake of sleeping at night, I decided to do my part in reducing waste. Turns out BYOB to the grocery store is actually quite convenient! There’s the hard part of remembering to bring the bags into the store even if you wisely just keep them in the back of your car, but, when you do, those suckers make getting the goods into your house a whole lot easier.
