I agree with Snowflake that men tend to have far less difficulty listening when the conversation is about a topic of interest to them. However, there were a lot of valid points in this article that made me re-examine the way I communicate with my husband and son. Thank you for sharing these points!

It is about time someone wrote an article for real women, respecting their intelligence, ability to reason, and experience. This article was not the one.

i agree with the article but it also helps when the guy shows he's trying to pay attention . like if my lady were trying to tell me something and i was to into a t.v. show i would just turn the tube off and give her my undivided attention.

I enjoy these articles because they are short and to the point. It's great for people with no patience.

I enjoy these articles because they are informing and to the point. I don't like to read novels when I want a question answered. I think these articles are perfect for people with no patience.

Man just hear you when you on a topic that interested to him at the moment. It is like they got selective listening skills. Interesting point about the hearing problem. I never thought of, but it might be one of the reasons they don't pay attention to you talking before they hear their own name. The key is to bring their attention first. Thank you .
