5 Excuses that Are Holding You Back

Everyone knows the expression, “When you make excuses, you make an…ex out of… you and…umm.” Oh wait, that’s assumptions.
Well, in the same way, I’d argue that making excuses is just as bad as making assumptions, if not worse. And these days it seems that the less time we have on our hands, the more excuses we make regarding our quality of life.
If asked, I’m sure most of us would admit that there are certain things we wish we did more of — we wish we exercised more, cooked more, volunteered more — the list goes on and on.
But whether it’s not having enough time, know-how or energy, we seem to find a lot of excuses for why we aren’t pursuing our goals.
It’s time to stop feeding ourselves these lines and start living the lives we say want to live.
For this reason, I’ve compiled a list of five things we all wish we did more of, followed by the most popular excuses we give ourselves for not doing them. I’ve also included an ‘excuse buster’ to illustrate the faulty logic in many of our excuses.
