This movie was quirky, entertaining and well told. Wonderful performances (Juliette can do no wrong...and let's not mention how sexy Johnny Depp is)
All of the town folk are interesting and I love the small town feel of it. By the end of the movie you feel as though you have known these people for a long time.
My favorite part is when Vianne and Roux are dancing by the water. It's subtle and very romantic in it's simplicity.- Flag as inappropriate

Very different plot line: Very interesting. Sexual undertones intense once the main characters meet. Made me a Johnny Depp fan forever :)

exotic! cinematography is excellent. The magic of chocolat!!! good rainy days movie, it will accentuate the tone of the movie. Get your cozy blanket and hot coco and turn it on....sex and chocolat?!?! anyone?!/!

Great movie. I'm a big fan of Juliette Binoche, chocolate, the French and quirky/out of the ordinary story lines, so this is a must-see from my perspective. :)

For some reason this movie was not what I expected .It was better than I expected .It captured my attention right away.Johnny Depp sure plays interesting characters in all his movies. Very good movie.

I love this movie as it deals with some interesting themes around love, jealousy, ethics and religion. Most importantly, I love the way Juliette Binoche's character , Vianne, relates to her daughter and encourages a community spirit with her chocolate.

Absolutely AWESOME. The story was engaging and the character development was awesome. Johnny Depp had a small role, but his portrayal of Roux was engaging and soooo sexy. Juliette Bonoche was incredible and who can forget Judi Dench - her character was incredible. After I rented this, I went out and purchased it for myself and got a copy for my best friend also. This is a must see for anyone who likes romance and strong female characters.
