The Secret is interesting and does make you think about what you're thinking and saying. My biggest problem with the book is that it gives credit to "the universe" for the thing that happen in our lives.

The fact that The Secret manages to acknowledge there's a greater force out there than mankind without getting on a religious soapbox may be one of the things I admire most about the book. I found it an easy read and a good reminder to practice the things I already knew.

You know, this really does work. It's as simple as simple as rearranging your thinking. Quit thinking the bad thoughts. Focus on the good things in your life. If you want something, act like you already have it and it will come to you. Happiness attracts happiness. Try it...it could change your life!

Pros: I really loved this book and the convenience of the CD's. They have many spiritual references and interesting quotes from successful people with all different backgrounds. We don't realize how negative our thoughts are! This book really helps you recognize the negativity you have in your own life. It helps you focus on changing your thoughts from negative to positive.

Cons: While I believe our negative or positive thoughts have an effect on our lives, I found it hard to relate to the constant "UNIVERSE" statements. I believe that if your are thinking/living positively GOD can and will bless you more freely!! On the CD, sometimes it's a little hokey, the narrator/author sounds SO dreamy and wonderous, that it's a bit distracting and kind of funny.

Overall, it's a wonderful book. I could go on, but I think you get it. Please read the book and listen to the CD's and you'll know what I mean!

I live by the secret. It has changed my understanding of the Universa laws. I have probably bought and given away a dozen copies. I lend my CD's and actually carry a set in my car. For anyone trying to change the energy around them I highly recommend reading this book.

OK, I cheated and watched the movie last night. It still was fabulous. I have always been a glass is half full person and always try to see the good in people. I had no idea I could turn that good on me. I have adjusted my thinking and am anxious to see what happens.

I just finished this book yesterday & am already seeing a difference

This is an amazing book about wisdom that we all have somewhere inside, but it has been conditioned out of us long ago. What a gift to reawaken the power within us all!

This was recommended to me when I was searching for a home to buy. A friend of mine said that for a new job and a new home, I needed to read this book. Both the book and movie provided some deep insight about the power I have within me. Slowly but surely, the changes are happening to the way I want them to in my life. I would definitely recommend this book. Excellent read!

Great product. This wisdom is not new, however, it's just resurfaced and it's as good as ever. Inspiring.

I am compelled, first of all, to say the "Universe" is our Lord and Saviour... I enjoyed this book very much, and believe wholeheartedly that "what we think about, we bring about", and having your goals in front of you, as a daily reminder (on a poster, on stickie notes, written on your mirror!) holds great satisfaction as you achieve them. It IS a great reminder of "the power within", and we should never fail to thank the "greater" power, as well. If anyone can see the potential in this, then you should take the time to read - it is worth your time to be the "glass half full" person who finally appreciates what's around them.

This is a very compelling ground concept to changing your life. Putting it into action is always the challenging part. There are other books available offering inspiration and motivation, and knowledge all in one. I am personally working on one entitled "Everything I know that works!", I live by example!

This book is really great. There are a lot of them out there like this. But life really does work this way, from the power of attraction!
