I must say that the netbook was given to me. I like netbook in that I can carry it in my backpack, I can perform basic tasks such as using the Open Office on it, and I do like the operating system that I have on my which is the Linux.

Mine is actually the "900A" model, but I love it. The WIFI capability tells me when I am in range of any connection and connects super quick, This little machine boots very quickly, much quicker than my PC. Although it is a Linux OS, it is as easy to operate, in some cases easier, than my VISTA laptop.

Some of the features I love about it--it fits into a purse!!. It has a great battery and is easy to operate without any kind of table or support surface-I was able to carry it with me and record planning notes while on a walking tour of a studio set we were using for a fund raiser, and I was able to access all of our other planning & lessons learned files on previous events, all while several hundreds of yards from any power source; the result of this was the distribution of detailed meeting minutes within two hours of returning to the office. It's third great feature is that I can take it to any meeting an take notes without having to place a giant black lap top where anyone can see it.

Finally, since it uses Star Open Office, I can use any of my MS Office files (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) by simply saving them to compatibility mode from my PC.

OH, the white model is far more stylish thatn the staid, somber black lap top.
