What's your favorite instrumental piece of music not necessarily classical?
Mine would be 'Moments in love' by Art of Noise,'Songbird' by Kenny G and 'Nostalgia' by Yanni,'Storm' by Vanessa Mae,'Baya Baya' by Safri Duo.

Re-enlightenment is in the realization of the fact that we have only the present moment to live.

Growing up in the 60's I remember my parents had this album that I loved it was The Ventures - The album was called The Ventures Play "Telstar" and "The Lonely Bull". They had an instrumental Tequila on there and I remember as a little girl begging my mom to play it on the record player.... I would dance to the entire album. It was a great album....

You and dad still have this album. I've listened to it.

Foreplay is really good and for some reason it really makes me want to cook a gourmet meal.

You've hit on one of my favorite genres - "post-rock". Uses 'rock music' instruments, but for non-rock purposes. Unique chord progression, timbre, tempo. Almost all of the post-rock genre is instrumental. Here's some favorites:

- Mono

- Explosions in the Sky

- Mogwai

- Godspeed You! Black Emperor

- Tulsa Drone

- Tristeza

- Wide Awake City

- Russian Circles

Check some of 'em out!
