He has a whole station dedicated to him on XM (Channel 63: XM Thriller) now.

What do you all think of him, his success, and do you have a favorite song or entire album?

I have grown up listening to his songs...infact he was one of the first few international artists whom I had started listening to as a child and developed a liking for his music.....my favorites would include 'Beat it','Liberian Girl','Dont stop till you get enough','Remember the time','Man in the Mirror'...I have never found his songs jarring to the ears...but I guess even I prefer his earlier albums especially those in the '80s.

I like his his music. I grew up listening to him and his brothers. I do not think anything negative of him I think he is a great artist. If he ever does a concert again in the states I will be there.

i bought my first michael jackson tape when i was 6. i'm still as obsessed as i was in the first grade. his music is genius, and sure, he's done some strange things, but that shouldn't reflect on his talent as an artist.

and speaking of MJ, i was at whole foods the other day in the checkout line. out of the corner of my eye i saw a sparkly glove and new it was michael jackson. i ended up buying the magazine, it's called Paste. AMAAZING! it comes with a full, free cd of hip, new emerging songs and artists, and it comes out like weekly or biweekly. i HIGHLY suggest looking for it next time you're at the store :)

A musical legend as died at the young age of 50. Michael Jackson had his flaws, and who are we to judge what he's done in the past...I just hope he was right with God before making that transition. Just goes to show that no matter how much money you have, you can't buy life. R.I.P. Michael Jackson!!!

I love the music from Jackson 5, the Thriller album, and a few others songs here and there. As others have said, he was definitely like the "Elvis" of his generation. I don't pretend to know what he did or didn't do, but it was obvious that the last years, even decade or more, of his life were hard. He was crying out for help that I'm not sure he ever let himself receive. With or without his singing/dancing, there is so much more he could've done, so many lives he could've touched, so much good he could've given to the world. But I think that all of the issues he faced got in the way of that. It's too late now, but all I can do is hope that in this last year, months, days that he was able to make some things right within himself and his family. I will be keeping his family in my prayers.

Did anyone ever see his movie Moonwalker? I can't find it in english any where and I don't know what my mom did with the tape.

My brother and I always watched that movie.  He would tease me and say I was Joe Picci (spelled wrong) because he had this one plait in the back of his head that was always sticking straight up and my brother would always mess up my pony tail to do the same thing.  Anyway,  Smooth Criminal has always been my favorite song by Michael Jackson.

The music industry will not be the same now that Micheal Jackson is gone.  He was an amazing artist!  I remember my mom giving me the Thriller album on vinyal, and I still have it!   Remember the claymation video he did for the song speed demon?  It is still one of my favorites, you can find it on youtube.  I think my favorite songs of Micheals' are Human Nature and Liberian Girl. Although I love them all.  I even have the CD tht his nephews put out.  The group is called 3T, its not bad.   The people who had the chance to meet him, work with him or even go to one of his concerts are very lucky, they should feel privilaged to have spent a moment with a ledgend such as Micheal Jackson.

Michael was an amazing artist. As most child stars, he has had his share of emotional, mental problems.  But he was the greatest performer, dancer that ever lived.  Don't know if I would listen to a radio station dedicated to only MJ, but I have a slew of his songs that I listen to from time to time.  I really can't pick a favorite record but perhaps it is Don't Let Go Of My Hands.  His best album ever was the Thriller album.
