Somehow our "Job Hunters' Corner" has dissappeared. Excelle staff are aware of it and trying to somehow get it back up. If that doesn't work out I'll recreate it.

 Hello,I would like to thank you for your offer of a free evaluation of my resume,which I know needs re-writing.

I have no cover letter yet, and I have never needed one since I mostly get my jobs through agencies.

However, now I am looking to expand my job search into areas where I have other skills that can be utilised as well . My resume is targeted to employers of private chefs, which has been my area of expertise for the last 7 years. However, during that time, I also served as a personal assistant which is an added bonus and a skill I feel I can market, either separate from, or in conjunction with, the gourmet cuisine and catering.

Venetia,  Dana graciously edited my resume - and I was always the self-proclaimed resume expert - since I was a cubicle job hopper in the past I had to be good at writing my own resumes. One could always use a fresh persepective. Following Dana's changes, I am actually getting calls and emails expressing an interest in me! This is after moths and months of absolutely no action. I am so relieved that people are interested in employing me again.

Thank you Kat. I hate the way things are with our economy and jobs - it breaks my heart to know that people are going through such tough times. With my job and 2 young ones at home, I don't have enough time to volunteer as much as I'd like. I am just glad to be able to help in some way! I'm still offering this, so if anyone needs it, please PM me!
