There a lot of great songs, at least one for each feeling. And there are those songs which make us cry and cry and cry.... It is that song that reminds you of something extremely sad (an event in your life, an event in your friends' life, a movie, etc) and it is also the song you listen when you are melancholic. So, which is the most depressing song for you?

For me it's Unchained Melody (The Righteous Brothers) and Love Story (Richard Clayderman). I always burst intro tears when I listen to them, especially when I'm in a saaad mood, but mostly, my sadness is connected to the movies wherein I listen them.

Why torture yourselves??!!  I get very angry when a depressing song is being played and I am forced to listen to it against my will. If It is my choice; however, I choose not to ever listen to sad, depressing music, ever! There is never a good excuse to waste a good day on listening and engaging in other artists negative and depressive states.

Unchained Melody is mine, too. I am sure it is because of the movie, "Ghost". I will really cry now since Patrick Swayze is no longer with us. I really liked him in that movie. I have friends who went to school with him and who were taught dance by his mother. I am still trying to get over it. Just seeing the title of the song just brought tears to my eyes.

Unchained Melody doesn't depress me, it just touches my heart. There are three other song that do the same for me. They are Luther Vandross, "Dance With My Father", Eric Clapton, "Tears In Heaven", and Elton John's "Candle In The Wind". They bring me to tears because those songs are sung with a picture you can see in your mind and feel in your heart. No, I don't get depressed, but I know exactly what you mean. The heart cries out! Awwwwwwwwww!

"Wind beneath my wings", and "Dance with my father" always make me cry. I also love Bridge over troubled waters" When someone with a really deep soulful baritone sings it, it brings chills to my skin and tears to my eyes.
