I've always wonder what makes the differences in men and women!

I thought, what makes women so much better than men?

I came up with 2 answers, my answer's are--

'to have babies' and 'the way their hormones work compared to men'

What do you think of this idea?

I don't think of it as one gender being better than the other.   We each bring different assets and problems to the table (yin and yang).

Richard,

You have two questions going here.  I don't think either gender is better than the other.  I do believe we might react differently to the same things and sometimes people assume those reactions make one gender better (able to handle things) than the other.   I think the orginial plan was that the differences in a man and a woman were meant to complement each other.  To complete what the other lacked and to make up a sum of the whole between us.

Personally I'm not better than the next person - male or female - just different.  According to some psychologists the main difference between men and women is the way we organize our lives.  Men tend to compartmentalize - job here, home/kids/wife here and fun here and don't you dare try to mix them up.  However, women mesh them all together - the job overlaps into the family, the family overlaps into the fun part, the fun part overlaps into the job etc.  So am I better - nope.  I don't feel I have the right to judge others therefore I can't be better than the next person.  I do things my way which you may think that I must be out of my ever-loving-mind to do something that way.  And that, my friend, is also your right.  See not better, just different.

Seems like a man's best argument to this question is always, "I get to pee standing up."

Doesn't sell it for me.

Now I'm not agreeing that a woman is better than a man - I am of the belief that we are all (no exceptions!) created equal.  And maybe I'm biased because I've never been a man, or over masculine, before, but I LOVE being a woman.  I feel powerful, sexy, full of potential, classy, sassy... but being a woman doesn't come without expectations as we all know.  And I'm one for fighting stereotypes.  I know this is all vague, but I think, Richard, you asked a very open-ended question, so I'm tossing my two cents into the pond.

Men and women are just different and not better or worse. We are different so that we can complete each other and there sould not be any competition for whose the best: a man or a woman. People belonging to both genders should be really proud of what they are and who they are, and should respect and understand the other gender's needs and actions.

God made man and woman.  He made man first.  To me that is the only difference.  The best quote I've heard on this subject goes like this:

Woman was created from the rib of man, She was not made from his head — to top him; Nor of his feet, to be trampled upon; But pit of his side, to be equal to him; Under his arm, to be protected; And near his heart, to be loved.”

I suppose 'man' wants the same things in return.

Couldn't have said it better.
