Posted 4 months ago I would say a 71/2 is the norm. I myself wear a 31/2 D which is both good and bad. Trying to find dress shoes is a nightmare, but gym shoes are simple. My daughters both have large feet. My oldest wears a 9 and my youngest daughter who is 5'0' wears a 10.

Posted 4 months ago I would think 9.5 since they never have my size in the shoe I want but have every other size.

Posted 3 months ago If they have wide widths available, I can go with an 8W. But because of the bunions from my mamma, I usually buy an 8 1/ 2 or 9. Please, please shoe manufacturers, make more wide width shoes that don't look orthopedic. There is a market for them.

Posted 2 months ago For many years I wore size10W, gained a whole lot of weight, went to size 11. Now have lost most of the weight, but size 10W is just a tad tight, uncomfortable. I need a 10 1/2. They are almost impossible to find. half sizes got only to 9 1/2! Finally found a place on the internet, if I want to pay $100.00 for a pair of sandals, and up to $200.00 for a pair of walking shoes. I sure hope shoe makers will take notice!!

Posted 2 months ago I started out with a size 10 with a quad A heel and a double A width. I have since graduated to an 11 medium but still have the blasted narrow heel. Every shoe style I have tried gives me major blisters, but I have found that I do best with open toe, open heel styles. Thank goodness I live in the South and have hot feet. The day it snowed here last winter I was out playing in the snow in flip flops and my feet didn't get cold. Maybe that says something about me - hmmm. Anyway, I have found that Roaman's has a good variety of shoe styles that go into the larger sizes at a not too bad price range. Check it out - I just wish I could wear heels again but the swelling in the feet prohibit that right now, plus I don't want to fall flat on my face - it seems to be deemed as rather undignified - go figure.

Posted about 1 month ago I'm a 9 1/2 WW. Not all wides are created equal. Fact is not all wides by the same company are equal! The ball of my foot is the widest, my heel is narrow buying shoes gives me depression. Once the cost is considered the depression becomes suicidal. I love flats ( I'm 5'10"), penny loafers, ballerinas anything with a low or low wedge heel. It's getting almost impossible to find shoes I like. My last pair of sandals was $118.00, three years ago. Most of my shoes come from SAS, or mail order. I've gotten to where I don't like to use mail order because it's a hassle to have to send them back. I suppose I need to apply that button that says if you find a pair of shoes that fit ( & you like) buy a pair in every color!

Posted about 1 month ago I wear a 5 1/2 in tennis shoes and a 6 in dress shoes. It's hard to find 5 1/2 so I usually end up buying a size 6 when I can find them. Eastlands seem to be sized smaller than most brands so I usually have to get a 6 or 6 1/2 if I buy them.
