Posted 6 months ago I tend to like to straighten my hair. It seems easier to work with when I do this. When I do wear it curly, I pull it back in a ponytail or a chic updo. |

| Posted 6 months ago I always wanted straight hair, but I never did anything to straighten it. Straight hair seems more versatile, but maybe it's just a case of "the grass is always greener..." Jane G. Chambers

| Posted 6 months ago I love my curly hair. It's beautiful. And it feels sexy when I need it too. It also feels like it hides my face which makes me more secure. I do not like my face very much and straight hair, or with it pulled back, I feel too exposed. But my hair also feels wild and untamed, so when I need to be business like, or proper, I tend to straighten it. |

| Posted 6 months ago When I embarked on my natural journey several years ago, it was the best decision I had made. Although "I am not my hair" so to speak, it is a part of my personality. My kinky curly hair is healthy, soft and versatile. I love it! |

| Posted 6 months ago This is a subject that causes a great deal of stress for me...my HAIR! My hair is somewhere between kinky and curly....and I can't get the curls to soften enough to wear it curly and I straighten it so much with a flat iron (no longer uses chemicals because I also color it) that it is always unhealthy! If anyone knows of a product that works on this type of hair, please let me know! |

| Posted 6 months ago My hair is as straight as a board. I have tried a curling iron, electric orders and perms and it always goes straight. The worst thing happened a couple christmas eve. I somehow backed into a burning candle and my hair caught fire. At the time my hair a waist long but it burned all the way to the collar. I had thought that both my boyfriend and daughter had lost their minds, i did not know it was on fire and out of the blue they were hitting and swatting me trying to put my hair out.. The day after christmas my hair was cut to about an inch long all over. I love it short now takes so little time to wash and if I put a touch of gel in it it will look pretty good. |

I have been blessed with thick wavy hair that I can put a little mouse in it and it looks like I had a perm or I can make it straight just by gel and a comb. | Posted 6 months ago I like variety, so I iron it on some days and let it dry wavy by itself other days but In this heat, I end up pinning it up. My hair doesn't hold a curl from a curling iron, but I have had better results with hot rollers. I think it's because the rollers let the hair cool into a curl before taking them out. |

| Posted 6 months ago it is so hard to keep it curly if i could i would get a perm but i heard they are really bad what are somenew products that willl keep my straight hair curly and crunchy...lol serious... |

| Posted 6 months ago Even so my hair is mostly straight! But when I was in high school, I let my hair grow long, with wearing glasses my hair would curl when it was at my glasses and curl around. Even the back of my hair also would curl at the collar of my shirts! The really interseting part, my sister, 1 year younger. She was jealous becase her hair grew straight and mine was curling! |

| Posted 2 months ago As a child growing up my hair was straight as a board, would not hold a curl for nothing! My hair would not even really hold a perm! As I get older, my hair is becoming naturally wavy and will hold a little curl when I curl it. Part of the reason now that it is somewhat hard to hold a curl, length and weight. I have thick heavy hair. Don't get me wrong, I love my hair (most of the time). It is naturally a strawberry blonde - It does not possess enough brown for me to be a brunette, just enough blonde for me to be a blonde with enough red to really be pretty.
