As the CEO & Founder of Women & Wine http://womenwine.com I am living my dream.

Yes, I get to meet interest people from all over the world who share my passion for wine, food and travel. I get to see, smell, drink, eat fantastic things and meet people who are carrying on family businesses in wine making regions throughout the world or just starting out on their dream. It's the dream job of a lifetime.

How did I get so 'lucky'? I followed my passion .... and turned it into a profession.

Now I know that sounds so simple - but sometimes we tend ot over complicate things. Especially when we ask ourselves, 'What am I going to do the rest of my life?" We look for jobs that we fit into - instead of creating opportunities from knowing our own talents and capabilties.

Part of the talent that I have is the ability to tell a story.

Women & Wine http://womenwine.com recently relaunched our website to give you a platform to share your stories about wine, food and travel. You can be a novice or a pro (yes, you can add your blog feed) - just learning or experienced. Seeking a career in this arena or a veteran. Did you just go to your first wine tasting - or logged miles in your search for the next great foodie destination?

Writing about what you love is the best way to share and discover what your  potential passions are about and I recommend that in this era of blogging that you tell your story. It may be for an audience of one right now but if you're an expert at something - or can find your voice on the web it may be the start of a whole new career for you (or enhance the one you already have!)

And the ability to write well and find your voice will open up a world of opportunity for you whether you end up writing professionally or not. Content on the web is being devoured by users and topics are easy to find. What are your current and previous experiences? Are they relevant to others - or so obscure that they will be interesting to an outside audience? Can you share the ups and downs of your career path with others as a Life Lesson or teaching experience? An inside look at a profession that's growing or changing? Or a hobby that fascinates you?

And yes, of course you're invitied to post your original story, photo, video on the Women & Wine site - you must be 21 years of age.

We'd love to get to know you -

I would love to become your friend.

Check out my site! I just converted our beautiful home up here in the Los Gatos/Santa Cruz Mountains in California into a small Bed & Breakfast! www.thelosgatostuscaninn. Also on airbnb and soon to be added to some of the Bed & Breakfast websites. With a struggling economy and my youngest off to his sophmore year in college and now barely coming home I decided to make use of our 3 year new Tuscan Dream Home. My husband loved the idea and is a Gourmet Cook and I look to cook and bake so we decided to do it! We have Pinot Noir Grapes and we are picking this week and making wine for the first time. We are down the street from 3 Award Winning wineries with views that are incredible. I just connected with a Limo Company who does wine tours up here and we're going to link. I have a Massage Therapist who is coming to the place to do massages for our guests here.

Sincerely,

Nancy
