Poll: How much of a pay cut would you be willing to take just to get a job?

Posted 29 days ago I know times are tough righ now when it comes to finding a job, but are you desperate enough to significantly reduce the rate of pay you find acceptable? Are you wiling to work 40+ hours a week for $9 an hour. Do you feel you are worth more but also feel you have no other choice but to take what you can get??? I know I am. I take into account the rate of pay they are offering, the hours, the job duties, taxes and location before I even submit my resume. if you are paying out more money for gas, daycare or other expences so you can work and you barley break even, is it really worth the effort of pursuing??? Even though times are tough "Beggars can always be chooser" when your broke! |
