As more men have been impacted by the recession than women, we wonder: are a lot of you facing the "survivor's guilt" and added economic burden of having a husband/boyfriend/significant other out of work?

My husband has been out of work for a year and half, I worked and was finishing my associate degree at the same time. Soon I graduated and he was still out of work. It has been really tough, and now we are down to only one car. He is now working making ofcourse much less than he did when previously employed. Times caused me to be angry that I had to carry the load myself, but that lasts a short time. Reality kicks you in the rear and you have to keep your mind and eyes open to make things work. We survived and are plucking away to improve ourselves financially.

You learn to take one day at a time. Pay the minimum amount on your bills and pray alot. Things are on the upswing but the swing takes time to fly high. We will make it, but others have lost homes along with their jobs. PATIENCE

Help others when you can, someday you may be in the same spot as your friends or family.
